Section 12
Work, Duties and Rights of Ward Committee

(1) The work, duties and rights of the Ward Committee shall be as prescribed by the executive.
(2) According to sub-section (1), when the executive determines the work, duties and rights of the ward committee, it should be determined at least as follows:- a. Formulation, implementation and monitoring of plans within the ward
(1) According to the participatory plan formulation system, by adopting the process of plan formulation from the settlement or toll level, the demands of the settlement and toll level plans should be analyzed, prioritized and selected,
(2) formation and operation of toll development organization and the formation and monitoring of the consumer committee for the schemes operating within the ward,
(3) Protection, maintenance, supervision and management of planning and physical infrastructure within the ward, b. Update and Protection of Data
(1) Keeping records of private houses and households (2) To maintain and protect historical, archeological, cultural and religious heritage, ancient monuments, public and community buildings, public, public, private lands,

(11) Collection and management of waste from houses, cleaning of squares and streets, drainage, management of dead animals, disposal of surface water and protection of water sources, (12) Establishment, coordination and promotion of agriculture and fruit nurseries and orientation of ward level leader farmer training,
(13) Collecting demand for agricultural seeds, fertilizers and medicines (14) Compilation of details of agricultural diseases,
(15) Livestock development and management of wild animals (16) Protection and management of grazing areas within the ward (17) Arranging art, drama, public awareness and cultural programs for the development of local community festivals, language and culture,
(18) Protecting and promoting cultural customs that reflect local originality,
(19) To develop sports infrastructure within the ward (20) Organizing sports programs through interschools and clubs (21) To maintain and assist in maintaining the roads within the ward area (22) Not to obstruct and encroach on the road jurisdiction within the ward,
(23) Removing obstacles caused by floods, landslides, storms and natural disasters on the roads (24) Gathering data and identifying the potential of domestic industries,
(25) Promoting domestic industry within the ward (26) To register, update and collect and protect records of personal incidents according to prevailing laws,
(27) Conducting public awareness program regarding registration of personal incidents,
(28) Disbursement of Social Security Allowance and updating records,
(29) Making the ward child-friendly,
(30) Keeping records of economically and socially backward women, children, Dalits, disabled people, senior citizens, minorities, marginalized communities and doing work related to social and economic upliftment,
(31) andTo maintain social harmony and harmony among different communities,
(32) To put an end to social evils and superstitions such as child marriage, polygamy, sexual violence, untouchability, dowry and dowry, halia system, chaupadi, kamalari system, child labor, human trafficking,

(41) To promote home stay tourism program within the ward. d. Regulation Act
(1) To monitor and regulate the work of development plans, projects and consumer committees involved in the ward,
(2) Providing training to carpenters and carpenters on earthquake-resistant building construction (3) To protect consumer interests by monitoring the quality and price list of food, fish, meat, vegetables, fruits, beverages and consumables,

(19) Certifying guardians and recommending institutional and individual guardians,
(20) Proving relationship with the living,
(21) To prove the relationship with the deceased and to recommend the surmise,
(22) Recommending that the living,
(23) To prove the rightful or entitled,
(24) Recommending nomination,
(25) To make recommendations regarding land rights,
(26) Recommending relocation of industries,
(27) recommending the opening of basic schools,
(28) Recommending valuation of land,
(29) Recommending the addition of school classes,
(30) To recommend for the care of disabled, helpless and orphans,
(31) recommending matrimonial naturalized citizenship,
(32) To make recommendations regarding the poor or prosperous financial situation,
(33) recommending relocation of schools,
(34) To recommend for water and electricity connection,
(35) To recommend or verify other delegated authority according to prevailing laws.
(3) Until the work, duties and rights of the ward committee are assigned by the executive in accordance with sub-section (1), the ward committee shall perform the work, duties and rights as per sub-section (2).will use the right.
(4) The work done by the ward will be done in the name of the ward office.
